If presented with the opportunity to get a message to a large group of people, what would your message be? is it possible to lie without saying a word?

Children deserve love, to be happy... So, if I have the opportunity to get a message to a large group of people, my message would be to tell people how much it is important and blessing to put a smile on a child's face.

Therefore, I think it is not possible to lie without saying a word. Lies are told by people.

Of all the forms of courage the ability to laugh is the most...

Using humor and play to overcome challenges and enhance your life.
The ability to laugh, play, and have fun with others not only makes life more enjoyable but also helps you solve problems, connect with others, and be more creative. People who incorporate humor and play into their daily lives find that it renews them and all of their relationships.

Life brings challenges that can either get the best of you or become playthings for your imagination. When you “become the problem” and take yourself too seriously, it can be hard to think outside the box and find new solutions. But when you play with the problem, you can often transform it into an opportunity for creative learning.
power‑of‑positive‑attitude.jpgtadams4u.wordpress.com

Playing with problems seems to come naturally to children. When they are confused or afraid, they make their problems into a game, giving them a sense of control and an opportunity to experiment with new solutions. Interacting with others in playful ways helps you retain this creative ability.

A beautiful story!

It is a beautiful story!

We met 5 years ago and we were good friends but he never told me his feeling for me. I had the  same feelings! I was attracted to him but I never told him. 5 years today, those feeling never last. Today, we are telling each other how hard those moments were for us. True love never last!!!

We are good friends, we know each other very well and we both think that, things could work properly this time! I think we are in love!!!
True love never last!!!

French recipe! Macaroons!

French food is the most tasted food in the world!
Summer is around and we all are seeking the best way to spend it. I am a loving cooking French food. I am always on the internet looking for  a new recipe and share it with my friends. So, see below  what I will be making on Friday for my friends.

                                                           MACAROONS RECIPE!!!

Ingredients
175g icing sugar
125g ground almonds
3 large free-range egg whites
75g caster sugar
For the filling
150g butter, softened
75g icing sugar
Method

1. Preheat the oven to 160°C/fan140°C/gas 3. Whizz the icing sugar and ground almonds in a food processor to a very fine mixture, then sift into a bowl.
2. In a separate bowl, whisk the egg whites with a pinch of salt to soft peaks, then gradually whisk in the caster sugar until thick and glossy. (At this point you can stir in flavour extract, such as peppermint or lemon, and corresponding colouring such as blue or yellow, to your meringue mixture, depending on what kind of macaroons you want – see chef's tip. Or divide the meringue among different bowls if you want to make more than one colour.)
3. Fold half the almond and icing sugar mixture into the meringue and mix well. Add the remaining half, making sure you use a spatula to cut and fold the mixture until it is shiny and has a thick, ribbon-like consistency as it falls from the spatula. Spoon into a piping bag fitted with a 1cm plain nozzle.
re‑raspb‑choc‑macaroons608.jpggourmet.com

4. Line 2 baking sheets with baking paper. Pipe small rounds of the macaroon mixture, about 3cm across, onto the baking sheets. Give the baking sheets a sharp tap on the work surface to ensure a good ‘foot’. Leave to stand at room temperature for 10-15 minutes to form a slight skin. This is important – you should be able to touch them lightly without any mixture sticking to your finger. Bake for 15 minutes. Remove from the oven and cool.
5. Meanwhile, make the filling/s (unless making chocolate macaroons – see chef's tip). In a bowl, beat the butter until light and fluffy, then beat in the icing sugar. (You can now add flavouring or nuts, and colour – see chef's tip.) Use to sandwich pairs of macaroons together.

The statute of limitations has expired on most of our childhood trauma

Childhood Trauma and the Mind-Body Connection for Adults.

Trauma survivors often hear, “Just forget about it. It was in the past. You need to move on.” Unfortunately, this is not accurate for many and until they resolve the past traumatic experiences, they are unable to ‘move on’. When trauma survivors find themselves unable to ‘get past’ the past, then they might consider seeking the help of a licensed therapist. It is not unusual for those with past traumatic experiences to struggle with one or more emotional difficulties, mental disorders, and/or physical health concerns and diagnoses.
Many of those who have survived trauma as children, tend to struggle as adults with depression, PTSD and other anxietydisorders, relationship difficulties, angry outbursts, alcohol (and other drug) abuse, etc. In addition, trauma survivors often experience physiological changes. Sometimes these individuals develop the onset of an illness, while at other times their condition worsens for no apparent reason. These conditions can sometimes be psychosomatic. This is a condition which sometimes causes a person to feel they are being told, “It is all in your head”, “You are making it all up”, or “You are crazy.” But trust me, this is not accurate. These are real condition(s), even though they may have a psychological basis to them and even if the client does fear they may be crazy. (I hear this frequently from my clients who have had traumatic pasts). ‘Psychosomatic’ means only that it’s a physical disorder caused by or greatly impacted by emotional factors; in other words, there’s a mind-body connection. As a word of caution though, never assume that any illness or painful condition has a psychological component or cause; you should always be checked by a medical doctor before making this assumption.
Those survivors of childhood trauma often show some (though not all) of the following physical symptoms: a lack of eye contact, altered pattern of speech (very fast or slow, halting, at times stuttering, or stammering, etc.), an inability or difficulty in being able to cry, chronically tired (or possibly even diagnosed with Chronic Fatigue or Adrenal Fatigue), difficulty with anxiety (including the possibility of shakiness, ‘nervousness’, anxiety or panic attacks), shallow breathing (movement shows up in the chest – not down deep in the stomach region), chronic back pain (for no apparent reason as determined by a physician), hyper vigilance regarding your surroundings and those around you (especially if they have ever been abusive towards you, another person, to an animal, or property of some sort), feeling frozen and unable to move or unable to sit still, having body numbness or feeling as if you are ‘somewhere else’, having poor physical health, fainting or dizziness, dry mouth, or a variety of other symptoms.
psychcentral.comShare
Some emotional symptoms may show up as: repeatedly struggling to find someone who will treat you as an equal in an intimate relationship, problems with co-workers, friends, or family members, finding yourself in the same types of stressful and or traumatic/abusive relationships, startling easily (jumping when someone enters the room, speaks to you, or walks nearby), trying hard to get along with everyone; being a ‘good girl’ (or boy) even when you feel otherwise on the inside, struggling to really trust others, making friends easily (yet not letting them know the ‘real’ you for fear that they wouldn’t like you), being fearful (although unsure of why you are fearful or of what you are fearful) feeling like a chameleon (changing to be like others and to fit in with those who are around you), feel a desperate need to control or not be in control of things (feeling the need to take charge all of the time or to always let others take charge), fearing that bad things will happen, dependent upon others, fearful of trying new things out on your own, seeking approval from others before trying new things, feeling as if you have no power, feeling hopeless and helpless about your life and of ever finding happiness, afraid of trying to find someone to love for fear they will hurt you “just like all of the others”, trying hard not to cry for fear that you will be unable to stop, feeling ‘damaged’ (not good enough for anyone), hypersensitive, not living your dreams for fear of failure.
Remember, many of these physical symptoms can be indicative of many physical illnesses. Sometimes physical illnesses can cause one to function poorly on an emotional level as well. But when physician after physician says there is ‘nothing wrong’, don’t give up. Help may be available, especially if you are aware of abuse in your past. A word of caution though, sometimes people don’t remember abuse in their past, yet may have been abused anyway. The reason for this may be either that the child blocked the emotional and physical pain as a way of dealing with it, or they may not have recognized it as abuse and may have assumed that all families lived this way. So when you repeatedly are told that ‘nothing is wrong’ by your doctor, you owe it to yourself to check with a licensed therapist to see if there might be more going on ‘behind the scenes’.

Only bad things happen quickly

I have been taught that, every nice and durable thing come after we fought to deserve them. So, everything we could get easily won't be good.
Besides, it is said, success demand sacrifices and it is a long way to go. So, I strongly agree with the quote above saying:'' Only bad things happen quickly''.
xanzibarthegreattrek.blogspot.com
But the thing we must understand through the quote is that, bad things happening quickly are setting ways for good things to come that is the reason someone said: ''Only bad things happen quickly''

My life is a mission

My life is surprise!

Everything I do is a mission from someone I have never seen. My life is a mission!
sunvali.info
There are things I have to do because there is a voice coming deep inside me telling me what I have to do. It seems strange what i am talking about but, the point is I just want to tell people that everything we do in our life is a mission from the Lord!

Be bold and mighty forces will come to your aid.

From my point of view, life is about facing challenges all the time  and we must overcome them. So the quote from the canadian author Basil King '' Be bold and mighty forces will come to your aid'' just means that, if we always fight and stand for what we want, there will always have an invisible strength wich will help us to win our battles.
lifeacousticandamplifi...
Be bold and mighty forces will
The author of the quote was a pastor, therefore I could say that, the quote below remind us a word from the bible which says : '' you are not alone because the Lord is always with you all the time. Just believe it and all your battles will always be won ; surrunding your fears...'' .Thus, the quote gives us the strength to face our fears and to always fight for what we want and knowing that, we are not alone.

If is not now, then when?

Life doesn't always give us things we want the moment we need them. That is reason we must always say that, ''if is not now it will be one day''.

''if is not now, then when?'' It will happen one day! in french we say,'' chaque chose, son temps'' meaning each thing its time, it means again, one day things will happen. We must not rush on things, we must wait for the right moment so we can receive what we deserve.

Sometimes, in some situations I used to question myself  saying,''if is not now, then when?'' I was questioning myself because I was impatient but after I had what i was wanted badly but  I forgot the pain I had the moment I needed my response.

Thus, we must always have in mind that, if is not now, one day at the right time we will receive what we need.

A nice fish recipe!!!

I am not much meat! I like eating fish and I am always looking for nice recipes on the internet I can make myself. So, please find the recipe I found and I have made!!!

Directions
  1. Soak the salmon fillet in a brine solution for at least 4 hours, but preferably overnight. Also, submerge the alder wood plank in water, placing a heavy object on top of it to prevent floating.
  2. Preheat an outdoor smoker for 160 to 180 degrees F (70 to 80 degrees C).
  3. Remove the salmon from the brine, rinse thoroughly under cold running water, and pat dry with paper towels. Remove the wood plank from the water, and lay the fish out on the plank. Season with freshly ground black pepper.
  4. Smoke the salmon for at least 2 hours, checking after 1 1/2 hours for doneness. The fish is done when it flakes with a fork, but it should also not be too salty. As the fish smokes, the salt content reduces. Adjust the cooking time and salty flavor to your taste. (Note: Smoking a fillet can take 2 to 6 hours depending on your taste, the size of the fillet, and the fat content of the fish.)
  5. During the last 30 minutes of smoking, mix together the brown sugar and water to form a paste. Brush this liberally onto the salmon.

Watch this space.

The sentence ''Watch this space''  according to me it is a way to ask someone to see the way you will react after something happened and the reaction would be excited for the person saying that.
As a reactionary person, I don't let things go. If you mess with me, I will seek the right occasion to show you what I am capable of so you won't mess with me next time.
richardlittledale.me.uk

Some people always think that, they have the monopoly of everything but they just wrong. Someone said, '' your freedom stops where for others start'' so, don't thing you have the monopoly of everything. If you upset me, I will say:'' watch this space'' because I will make you to regret what you did and make you to apologize to me and respect me for the rest of your life!

Trust issues with friends

When there is no trust in friendship anymore, the better thing to do it is just stop being friend with that particular person.
Some experiences encountered with some friends transformed me in a very special person. They made me keep in mind that family has to be everything to me and made me become a reactionary person. Like, if you betray my trust, i will maybe forgive you but I won't be stupid again to trust you...
In friendship i am very strict about trust.
nwso.net

In any relation, people must behave aim not to hurt others or to create any trust issues in others. But most of the time, some people think always to be wiser or think to be the one who deserves everything.
Life doesn't go that way. If someone betray my trust, I just distance myself to that person because I still have the power to choose who I hang out with...
''People are born good but it is the society they live in that make them change''

Some behaviours don't confuse!

Some behaviour must tell us what a person tries to cummunicate or what information a person would like to share with you. Sometime, we must not wait for a person to tell us what he thinks because someone's attitude must sometime tell us what a person thinks about us.

teen_brain.jpg
parentables.howstuffworks.com
Someone told me last time, ''just do what you do the best: run away without trying  to see the real picture''. That was very funny because some people don't understand that, there are things I don't fight for. If someone loves me, he must treat me like a queen and if you don't, there is no reasons for me to stay. Life is to short and beautiful for letting someone to show me the bad side if it. If  you love me , I will also love you in return  but if you don't, I will find someone who cares and who will love me and life goes on.

My favorite Cat in the Hat book is the fish because...

The Cat in the Hat is an original book (novel) from Dr Seuss. Later on, the story was made in movie. From my readings through my research, I understood that, the story was about; good and bad choices, good and bad behaviours.

Cat‑and‑Fish_3.jpg
lmnop.com.au
Someone said,''people are born nice but they change because of the society''. So, I think, we all face challenges, issues... but that, must not make us loose the reason! We must try to understand what is happening around us and try to find good solutions because it is said, ''we are what we do''.
Therefore, the favorite Cat in the Hat book for me is the fish because, he makes us understand that life is about challenges but we must always handle it with good attitude because''we are what we do''.

Why I have conversation?

People most of the times have conversation to share information or receive some.
In addition, people could have conversation to express themselves, to make friends...
So, why I have conversation?

Most of the times, I have conversation:
krywosa.com
  • To share informations or to receive some.
  • To solve a problem (s)
  • To give my point of view
  • To cultured myself
  • To express my feelings
  • To make friends
  • Just for fun
So it could be said that there are many reasons why people have conversations.

Choices.

Life is always about choices. We must make choices for our success! we must choose to do some sacrifices to succeed in everything we are doing. But, some of choices we have to make sometimes could be difficult and most of the times when the heart is involved.

I experienced in some situations, my heart telling me to do a thing and my head telling me to do something else and i was confused.
So, it seems that, choices involving feelings are not easy to make!!!

3,6, 9 my numbers and their meanings!

Spiritual Meaning of Number ThreeThree: The spiritual meaning of number Three deals with magic, intuition, fecundity, and advantage. The number Three invokes expression, versatility, and pure joy of creativity. Three is also a time identifier as it represents Past, Present and Future. Consecutive Threes in your life may symbolize the need to express yourself creatively, or consider your present directional path in relation to past events and future goals. Three may also represent promising new adventures, and assurance of cooperation from others whom you may require help. Three typically symbolizes reward and success in most undertakings.

Spiritual Meaning of Number SixSix: The symbolism behind number Six is legend. With Venus as its ruler, Six represents harmony, balance, sincerity, love, and truth. Six naturally reveals solutions for us in a calm, unfolding manner. We invoke the Six when we need delicate diplomacy when dealing with sensitive matters. The spiritual meaning of number Six also deals with enlightenment; specifically "lighting" our path in areas we require spiritual and mental balance. Sixes beckon us to administer compassion and consciously choose forgiveness in a situation.

Conventional is a good fallback position isn't it?

I have always been taught that, we can only learn and improve ourselves from our mistakes. So learning something new never scared me.
wernercarol.blogspot.com

So I don't think that conventional should be a good position! I think, we must learn and make mistakes so we could understand new things better. They said,''practice makes parfait'' so why can't we keep practicing so we could become experts instead of  keeping or doing only what we know?

I don't think that conventional should be a good position to hold on!

I want someone who cares!!!

I know we can't live only from love and cold water! But I am looking for more in relationship than look and money.

In relationship, I am looking for some attention meaning, I am looking for someone who cares about me, who sms me, calls me and who loves me. I am not looking for someone who gives me a lot money but who doesn't have time for me or for us!
engl106.blog.sbc.edu

''I want someone who cares about me!''

I don't want someone who, never call me or who calls me once in two weeks! Someone who sends a sweet sms once in three weeks!... I want a man who cares.

You cannot chase two rabbits at the same time.

I remember my mother telling me when I was younger : ''Parly, you cannot chase two rabbits at the same time you will probably loose one or both''  and at that age, I have no idea of what she was talking about. I was busy partying...

Growing up, I have understood  the quote better and from that I understand the importance of doing each thing at his own time because as the quote says, by following two things can lead us loosing one or both.
Thus, for my own success, I don't party... during school period because I know that, I might fail if I do. First, I must deal with my school and party during my holidays or any free time I could have.

'Nothing is more dangerous than an idea, when you only have one idea'' (Alain)

'' Nothing is more dangerous than an idea, when you only have one idea''

An idea is the beginning of a realization or an accomplishment .
wernercarol.blogspot.com

The quote above tries just to make us understand that, an''Idea'' is the beginning of everything. So, i think for the sake of not having wars... people must not make others conceive bad ideas because when it happens , that could be dangerous.

There are ideas and ideas. But an idea becomes dangerous when it could have bad impact on people or the society people live in! So, I think the quote above refer to what a bad idea could be!

Money can't buy everything!

I have realized that, money can't buy everything!

I like fancy  things, fancy life and I would like to drive fancy cars (Range Rover) but I would like to be able to afford those stuffs myself  first before I meet someone who can do that for me!

sodahead.com
In relationship, I prefer love the person first before his money. So, I can't love someone for his money!
Some people think that, with money they can buy everything even love and I say: Money can't buy everything!
love me first, make me love you, tell me where you get your money from and i will stay with you but don't expect me to love you for the money you have even i don't even know where it comes from!

Have you figured out the second head fake?

Hummmmm!
nicolefernandes.wordpress.com
I think I don't  need it! because I have been taught to always show people who I am so they could like know me and give me second chance ... when I will need it.

I just need to be who I am!
I don't fake my personality to get what I want because I have been taught that everything deserve an effort!

Thus, for me, figure out the second head fake must not be an idea!!!

I am...?

I am Parly Juliette Medjo Obam. I am from Gabon and I am the second last child of my family.

Coming from a big family, I have been  taught that,''family must always come first'', to respect people,to recognize others' values, to fight and stand for everything I want.
So, I am an ambitious girl!
At school, I have never been the best one but I have never been neither the last. But I passed my metric in 2006, (after I failed it two times). I wanted to go in London in 2007 but it failed and I never gave up. 2008, I received a scholarship for South Africa.
Things weren't easy at the beginning, I couldn't speak English... but I had my goals. In 20012, I graduted from my ND in PR. Waouuuuuuu, that was a magic day!!!
My graduation day 2012 (ND/PR)

Thus, this year I am doing my Betch in PR, it is my last year in South Africa and I am preparing myself for new challenges. I like challenges.

I am a lover, romantic person...
I love fashion! (by the way, Zara is opening the 17th of August at Waterfront!!!).

I am HUMAN!!!

From the 2nd of  August until the 10th of August I have lived something special. But I still think that 11 days weren't enough!
The 2nd of August was the day I picked him up from the airport. It was such a beautiful day with a very nice weather. I wish I could stop the time and make him stay longer. But!!!

This morning, with a bad weather  I had to drop him to airport. We both cried like children. It seemed that we won't never seen each other.
I don't know how to manage that, I 'have tried so many times but I still can't manage my feelings! long distance relationship is a torture!!!

Andy Warhol said,''In the futur everybody will be world famous for fifteen minutes.'' You can't choose the 15 minutes but why would you be world famous?

People like, mother Teresa, Princess Diana deserved to be famous for their good actions around the world. So, if one day , I have the privilege to be world famous for fefteen minutes, I wish that, it must be for a good action i have done somewhere not for the money i must have.
I read somewhere that, real happiness is when we put a smile on someone face.(good action).

''Good action should be the reasons people are femous''

My faith

Younger, I didn't know the word ''faith'' meaning and  power.
Growing up and facing things in my life, made me understand  and experiment ''faith'' in Jesus.

With ''faith'' my life seems easy. Thus , because of the ''faith'' I have, a voice deep inside me always telling me ''God brings you to it, He will bring you through it''

A skill set called leardership.

Reading stories about :

Martin Luther King...

Made me questioned myself : Are they born leaders?
So, through my readings, I found out that:
Some people believe that leaders are born with the necessary qualities that make them successful as a leader. While others believe that leadership, like many other similar characteristics, can be learned and developed through life. For me, I think much of the debate depends on how you define leadership.
Defining Leadership
Let’s assume leadership means having an ability and desire to inspire and influence others. Based on that definition, I can certainly see the argument that leaders are born with leading qualities when I see my daughter using her inherent ability to influence her little brother (and sometimes her parents) to do the things she wants them to do.
If leadership means being courageous and willing to speak out for the betterment of those around you, I would think that leaders do not have to be born as such. I have seen people who consider themselves introverts and overall followers become successful leaders when faced with an issue they are passionate about.
If we define leadership as having atypical intelligence, creativity and/or drive, then I am back to believing that it’s a trait you’re born with, although you may or may not continue to develop that trait through your life...
