The elephant in the room

"Elephant in the room" is an English metaphorical for an obvious truth that is being ignored or goes unaddressed. The idiomatic expression also applies to an obvious problem or risk no one wants to discuss.

In French it is always said: ''La discussion jaillit la lumiere'' meaning, it is only through discussions that we could solve a problem or improve something... instead of ignoring the truth.
For example, ''AIDS problem'' .Everybody knows how much the disease is fatal and that scientists. haven't found any medications to eradicate it. So, the only way to slow down that disease it's to educate young people about it but the subject of SEX in our  cultures and families is taboo even parents know that ''AIDS'' is a big problem today and fatal!

Everybody knows the damages that the disease causes but , today, some parents still feel bad to educate or talk about sex to their children!

''La discussion jaillit la lumiere''
''the fact to rrecognize that there is a problem when there is one can solve, improve...a lot in the world''

Everyday is a good day.

Everyday is a good day because we achieve or realize  every single day something new.
We learn new things every day.
Let's take school as an example. Everyday single day at school, we learn something new benefit to our future...
Everyday is a good day to do something good for someone, to make peace with people and yourself, to live like there is no tomorrow...because everyday is a good day.

This Time Scared Me!!!

I am scared!
I have a feeling that, I am almost there, I am almost done with my studies...but I am scared!!! I can't really say or tell people what scares me, but I am scared!!!
These are the questions always coming up when i am siting alone in the dark.
  • am i going to find a good job after my studies?
  • am i going to find the right man
  • am i going to...
I read somewhere''Don't stress about the future, it hasn't arrived'' but I can't help myself. I have the skill to always plan everything and I know I can't plan my future but ,what  I want are just answers!!! I'am scared!

Miss P!!!

Maybe i am scared of the future

Maybe I am stressing to much!

What can i do? I am scared!

Miss P!!!

Her life is a real story!

She never thought to be where she stands today! When she arrived in SA, she couldn't say anything in English. She went to English school and she applied at CPUT in PR. Today, she is doing her Btech in PR.
Honestly, things are not easy but she keeps struggling and do everything she can to realize the future she dreams about.
She recognizes that, she couldn't be standing where she is today if she didn't have good lecturers and for that, she will always be grateful to all of them.
CPUT empowered her and made her believe in her more but, she thinks that the successful of her studies in SA took away her relationship.
This year, she lost ''the love of her life''. As people always say, Success goes with sacrifices!
She wishes to be very happy!!!

Our greatest strengths are our greatest weaknesses.

Your greatest strength is your weakness.  You’ll fail if you don’t expand.
                                                                                                                                fiksd.blogspot.com
  • If you are a great talker, you talk too much.  Listen more.
  • If you are a great listener, you listen too much.  Talk more.
  • If you are great at execution, you rely too much on getting things done.  Dream more.
  • If you are a dreamer, you launch too quickly.  Execute more.
  • If you are great at encouraging, people walk all over you.  Confront more.
  • If you are great at discernment, you walk over others.  Comfort        more.
  • If you are great at organization, you’re inflexible.  Adapt more.
  • If you are creative, you’re scatterbrained.  Ask more questions.
  • If you are a detail person, you’re  rigid.  Try things more.
Your greatest strength makes you interesting and useful.  Use it, follow it, and leverage it for the good of others.  However, it doesn’t take long for a one string banjo to irritate any listener.  You’ll reach higher by adding a few strings to your instrument.

My Loving Mother

To the one who gave me life
I can give nothing but love
To the star so full of light
to the one sent from up above.

Thank you for the kindness
for everything you do
thank you for the happiness
thanks for seeing me through.

I love you more than anything
I'll love you to the end
you are my mother first
then my very best friend.

It is unusual what we share
everything I do you know,
every beautiful quality
you have in you, I try to show.

Not often enough do I tell you
how much you mean to me
Not often enough do I show you
how your love set me free

To live forever and always
Is what I wish for you.
A long life ever-lasting
for one so sacred and true

You are my special angel
who I always find comfort in
whether life is in a shambles
whether I lose or whether I win

To the one who gave me life,
I can give nothing but love
to the one who genuinely is,
sent from heaven above
