Conventional is a good fallback position isn't it?

I have always been taught that, we can only learn and improve ourselves from our mistakes. So learning something new never scared me.

So I don't think that conventional should be a good position! I think, we must learn and make mistakes so we could understand new things better. They said,''practice makes parfait'' so why can't we keep practicing so we could become experts instead of  keeping or doing only what we know?

I don't think that conventional should be a good position to hold on!
